Hyderabad: State Bank of India Chairman Dinesh Khara on Tuesday inaugurated Retail Asset Credit Processing Centre for Small and Medium Enterprises (RASMEC), here through a video conference recently. He interacted with the bank functionaries in Telangana and addressed officials on the occasion.
The SBI chairman was on a visit to Hyderabad in connection with various official engagements and attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Urban Development (2020-21). He also conducted the Local Board Meeting at LHO Hyderabad.
Dinesh appreciated the contribution made by the staff in providing uninterrupted services to customers across India during the Covid times. Khara said that bank's area of focus in CSR activities include healthcare, education, livelihood, skill development, environment protection, empowerment of women and youth.
SBI donated tractor and medical equipment through the hands of Khara to Kalpavruksha Kamadhenu Trust and Ashray Akruti as part of the CSR initiative.
Khara said the CSR activities are done in the project mode through SBI Foundation established in 2015.
